Todoist Integration

Manage tasks — list tasks and projects, get a task, and create tasks, close tasks, or add comments (writes require approval).

This integration enables workers to:

  • List tasks
  • Get a task
  • List projects
  • Create a task (approval-gated)
  • Close a task (approval-gated)
  • Add a comment to a task (approval-gated)

Setup

Follow these steps to connect Todoist:

  1. Find your Todoist API token (Settings → Integrations → Developer → API token)
  2. Navigate to Integrations and click 'Add Connection'
  3. Select Todoist and paste your API token
  4. Assign your operations/personal-productivity workers to use it

Security

  • The API token is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM)
  • The token grants full access to the issuing user's account — use a least-privilege account
  • Creating tasks, closing tasks, and adding comments require human approval

Credential Storage

All integration credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. OAuth tokens are automatically refreshed when needed.
