Linear Integration
Manage issues — list and read issues and teams, create issues, change issue state, and add comments (writes require approval).
Capabilities
This integration enables workers to:
- List and read issues
- List teams
- Create issues (approval-gated)
- Change an issue's state (approval-gated)
- Add comments to issues (approval-gated)
Setup
Follow these steps to connect Linear:
- Create a Linear personal API key (Settings → Security & access → Personal API keys)
- Navigate to Integrations and click 'Add Connection'
- Select Linear and paste your personal API key
- Assign your operations/access/security workers to use it

Security
- The API key is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM)
- The key inherits the issuing user's workspace access — scope it accordingly
- Creating issues, state changes, and comments require human approval
Credential Storage
All integration credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. OAuth tokens are automatically refreshed when needed.
