Klaviyo Integration

Run email and SMS marketing — list lists and metrics, get a profile, and create profiles or subscribe profiles to a list (writes require approval).

Capabilities

This integration enables workers to:

  • List lists
  • List metrics
  • Get a profile
  • Create a profile (approval-gated)
  • Subscribe a profile to a list (approval-gated)

Setup

Follow these steps to connect Klaviyo:

  1. Create a Klaviyo private API key (Settings → API Keys → Create Private API Key)
  2. Navigate to Integrations and click 'Add Connection'
  3. Select Klaviyo and paste your private API key
  4. Assign your lifecycle/marketing workers to use it

Security

  • The private API key is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM)
  • Scope the private API key to least privilege (only the access scopes the worker needs)
  • Creating profiles and subscribing profiles to lists require human approval

Credential Storage

All integration credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. OAuth tokens are automatically refreshed when needed.
