Mailchimp Integration

Read audiences and campaign performance; add subscribers and create draft campaigns (with approval).

Capabilities

This integration enables workers to:

  • List audiences with member counts
  • List recent campaigns and their status
  • Read a campaign's report (opens, clicks, rates)
  • Add a subscriber to an audience (approval-gated)
  • Create a draft campaign for human send (approval-gated)

Setup

Follow these steps to connect Mailchimp:

  1. Navigate to Integrations and click 'Add Connection'
  2. Select Mailchimp and authorize via OAuth
  3. Pick the Mailchimp account to connect
  4. Assign your lifecycle/marketing worker to use it

Security

  • Uses Mailchimp OAuth 2.0 (long-lived token, encrypted at rest)
  • Campaigns are created as drafts only — workers never auto-send
  • Adding subscribers and creating campaigns require human approval

Credential Storage

All integration credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. OAuth tokens are automatically refreshed when needed.
