Brevo Integration

Run email and SMS marketing — list and get contacts, list campaigns and lists, create contacts, and send transactional email (writes require approval).

Capabilities

This integration enables workers to:

  • List contacts
  • Get a contact
  • List campaigns
  • List lists
  • Create a contact (approval-gated)
  • Send a transactional email (approval-gated)

Setup

Follow these steps to connect Brevo:

  1. Create a Brevo API key (SMTP & API → API Keys → Generate a new API key)
  2. Navigate to Integrations and click 'Add Connection'
  3. Select Brevo and paste your API key
  4. Assign your lifecycle/marketing workers to use it

Security

  • The API key is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM)
  • Scope the API key to least privilege (only the access the worker needs)
  • Creating contacts and sending transactional email require human approval

Credential Storage

All integration credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. OAuth tokens are automatically refreshed when needed.
