What is Worker Architect?
Worker Architect is an AI-powered assistant that helps you set up AI workers tailored to your organization's connected integrations. Instead of manually configuring each worker, you can:
- Use suggested blueprints: See pre-built worker templates based on your connected integrations (e.g., Slack Monitor, Email Responder, Jira Reporter).
- Describe what you need: Type a natural language prompt like "I need a worker that monitors our Slack channels for support questions" and let AI generate a setup plan.
- Review before creating: Every plan requires explicit approval before any workers, bindings, or schedules are created.
Worker Architect ensures you stay in control while dramatically reducing the time to deploy new AI workers.
Suggested Workers (Integration-Based Recommendations)
When you open Worker Architect, it automatically scans your organization's connected integrations and displays suggested worker blueprints. Each blueprint is designed for a specific integration:

Blueprints marked as "Ready" can be created immediately. Blueprints that require missing integrations will show a link to connect the required integration first.
Prompt-to-Setup (Natural Language Plans)
Beyond blueprints, you can describe your needs in natural language. Worker Architect uses AI to generate a structured setup plan:

"I need a worker that monitors our Slack channels for support questions and creates Jira tickets for them."
The AI will analyze your connected integrations (Slack, Jira) and generate a plan that includes:
- Creating a new worker with the Operations Assistant role
- Binding the Slack and Jira integrations
- Setting up scheduled polling for new messages
- Configuring appropriate autonomy level (usually Approval Required)
Approval Flow
Worker Architect follows a strict propose → approve → implement workflow:
Propose
AI generates a plan based on your prompt or selected blueprint.
Review
You see exactly what will be created: workers, bindings, and schedules.
Approve
Click "Approve & Create" to execute the plan, or cancel to discard.
Nothing is created until you explicitly approve. All plan executions are logged in your organization's audit trail.
What Gets Created
When you approve a Worker Architect plan, the following resources may be created:
- Workers: New AI workers with specified roles (e.g., Operations Assistant, Customer Support Agent).
- Integration Bindings: Connections between workers and your integrations (e.g., Slack, GitHub, Jira).
- Scheduled Tasks: Cron-based schedules for recurring work (e.g., daily reports, hourly polling).
- Audit Logs: A record of what was created, when, and by whom.
Workers are created with "Approval Required" autonomy by default, ensuring human oversight for all actions.
Permissions
Worker Architect has role-based access controls:

| Organization Member | Can view suggestions and generate plans, but cannot approve or execute. |
This ensures that only authorized users can create new workers and modify organizational resources.
Troubleshooting
No suggestions showing?
- Make sure you have at least one integration connected. Visit Integrations to connect services like Slack, GitHub, or Email.
- Some blueprints require specific integrations (e.g., GA Reporter requires Google Analytics).
Plan generation failed?
- Ensure your prompt is descriptive enough (at least 10 characters).
- The AI can only use integrations that are already connected to your organization.
- If you mention an integration that isn't connected, connect it first and try again.
Can't approve a plan?
- Only Organization Owners and Admins can approve plans.
- Ask an admin to approve the plan, or request elevated permissions.
