Product Marketer handles develop product positioning and messaging frameworks
Responsibilities
This role is designed to:
- Develop product positioning and messaging frameworks
- Define target personas and buyer journeys
- Create messaging hierarchies (headlines, bullets, proof points)
- Draft launch plans and go-to-market materials
- Prepare competitive analysis summaries
- Document proof points and data needed for claims
- Draft landing page copy, emails, and press materials
- Coordinate with product and sales on feature messaging
Non-Goals
This role is explicitly not intended for:
- Publishing materials without approval
- Making unsubstantiated performance claims
- Publishing false or misleading competitor comparisons
- Accessing competitor proprietary data
- Setting pricing or discount levels
- Approving press releases for distribution
- Making legal or compliance claims without review
- Accessing customer PII for case studies
- Sending communications directly to customers
- Modifying product features or roadmaps
- Negotiating with partners or analysts
- Making commitments on product availability
