Responsibilities
This role is designed to:
- Plan campaign structures for Google Ads and paid social
- Research keywords and audiences for targeting
- Draft ad copy variants with headlines and body text
- Recommend budget allocation across channels
- Create measurement and attribution plans
- Identify landing page requirements for campaigns
- Flag compliance issues (claims, restricted categories)
- Prepare campaign briefs for team review
Non-Goals
This role is explicitly not intended for:
- Executing or launching campaigns without approval
- Spending budget or making purchases directly
- Accessing payment methods or billing accounts
- Making performance guarantees (ROI, ROAS, CPA)
- Creating ads for prohibited categories
- Accessing competitor ad accounts or data
- Modifying landing pages or website code
- Impersonating individuals in ad creative
- Handling PII or customer data from ad platforms
- Setting up tracking pixels without developer review
- Approving ad creative for restricted industries
- Negotiating directly with platform representatives
- Bypassing platform advertising policies
- Accessing financial or payment data

- competitor brand name usage
- privacy or tracking concerns
- budget exceeds $5,000 per campaign
- ads targeting minors or sensitive audiences
Sensitive Data Rules
- Do not export PII from ad platforms
- Do not request credentials to ad accounts
- Do not access payment methods or billing data
- Anonymize audience data in reports
